i'd put those on my ebony in a heartbeat... but how would someone blackout their taillights safely (as in, not make it TOO black so it would affect the functionality of the lights) rattle can? I really want to black my taillights out

VHT Nightshades, yes rattlecan. Since our taillights are ginormous it would probably be wise to pick up 2 cans. Spray VERY LIGHT coats of the stuff, waiting 5-10 minutes in between coats or it will fog up when it dries and look like poo. I did 20-30 coats on my civic back in the day and they turned out great. Do it in daylight though.. night time is deceiving on how dark they actually are. It might look pretty cool to leave the reverse lights white by putting tape over them before spraying, get creative. I think the LED tails would look sweet with this done too. Somebody do it and post pics.
Oh and one more slightly important note for people lacking common sense, take the tail lights off the car before spraying them ![]() ![]()

Looks good with the black roof. Do the little LED bar too.

speaking of led's......i think most if not all folks on here have seen the LED brake lights.....
they come from tractor trailers etc but do u know u can get SEQUENTIAL flashing yellow LED signals too?!?! HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?!?!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() LOL they are the same size/shape as the LED brake units but the LED'S are arranged as chevrons.... and each chevron comes on/off in sequence...simple 2 wire hookup too ( the circuitry is in the light unit) i dunno what they cost but i WANT them !!! they look like wee lil highway lane change signs...sorta...

I would imagine so. It'd be nice to have it removable for when the cops get all pissed off
Oh...probly not a very foggy-night friendly mod..

I tried tinting before but it bubbled up and looked retarded. I guess it only works on flat surfaces like windows. With the $80 led tail light mod from the warehouse, they would be plenty bright enough.
