Wanted SVX in Pa area

Hey, if anyone knows or has an svx that they are selling, please let me know. I would like to keep around 2000 dollars, but possibly up to 3000, anything less is fine as well. Like i sated in my previous post, something with a bad tranny would be great, just as long as the engine is strong and so is the body. Thanx very much.

1992 svx

Hi there....I'm thinking of selling my svx. Its a 1992 with 140,000 miles and a clean title history. The motor and trans are great, I just put new brakes all the way around and also a new fuel pump. The body is nice..just minor dings (what I call parking lot dings) on the doors and the body mouldings need to be reset. I just posted a question about this car due to a clunking noise in the front diff. The axles aren't the problem...so the front diff should be replaced. $150 on car-part.com plus time/labor. The car drives great except for the diff clunking. the interior is very nice...no rips or tears..all the accesories work fine. This would be a great platform if someone wanted to create something cool. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll get some pics posted...raining too hard right now to take any.

Gauging interest-SVX FS Pittsburgh

Hello, if you are still interested in an SVX in this area, I have a 92 LSL black that I am thinking about selling. I need a cargo van ASAP for work and can't keep my Subie anymore.
It's been in the garage for about 8 months because of a crack in the radiator. I couldn't find a replacement and didn't want to spend a fortune at the dealer. I finally found a low mile replacement and currently am awaiting it's arrival.
The car is an LS-L touring with the charcoal leather, CD/cassette, fog lights, and spoiler. I think that's all of the options on the LS-L. The body is in pretty decent shape for a 92 and it has somewhere between 110-119K miles on it. I'm not in the garage right now but next time I'm in there I'll check exact mileage.
I really only used the car for rain and snow because the AWD is great on this car, even with the Yokohoma high performance tires. I replaced several parts on the car from the windshield to the alternator. I have most of the maintenence records.
A gentleman offered me $4250 for it about 18 months ago but I didn't really want to sell it then. A month later the transmission went out, so it sat for a few months until I could find a low mile replacement. Guess I should have sold it B4 the tranny went. Anyway, I need to sell it soon or trade it in on a cargo van. I'd rather sell it to an SVX enthusiast than trade it in at a dealership and have some 16 year old kid buy it and destroy it.
I'm looking to get $3000 for it.
My E-mail is SHOtyme3pt0@aol.com if you don't want to PM or post me.
Thanks,
Joshua/Pittsburgh

Just an update on the exact mileage. It has about 116,000 and some change. Just to clarify- the tranny has been replaced with a low mileage replacement very recently. Less than 100 miles ago. I was told it had between 60-80,000 miles on it. (Of course they had no documentation of this though. ) I am just awaiting the arrival of the radiator for the car to be driveable. (It is already bought and paid for.) Just need to install it when it gets here.
Thanks,
Joshua/Pittsburgh

Here are some photos of my SVX for you. Sorry they are a bit late. It's tough for me to get time to take these with any daylight left, because I work long hours. I took these between thunderstorms. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

here are a few more

Here are some more pictures of the car. It's really not as clean as the pictures make it look. I just hosed off all of the leaves and pine needles right before I took the pictures.

More pictures of SVX

Ok here are a few more pictures of the car. The body probably isn't as good as it looks in the pictures though. There are some parking lot dings and scratches and some rust starting to bubble up under the paint in the usual spots (above rear wheel wells) on the drivers side. There are a few tree sap spots on the hood & roof and it looks like the last owner used a gallon of touch up paint on the car. Especially the rear bumper. None of this is really noticeable unless you are close up to the car. The front bumper has some deeper scrapes from a pick up truck backing in to it but the bra covers these completely. I am pretty anal about these things so they might not bother someone else as much. If you want I can attempt to send some more close up pictures of these spots with better lighting. With a black car and being kind of dark out, none of the blemishes photograph very well. I would say the body is in good-fair condition. Especially considering the car is 14+ years old.
