we have no information supplying facts that the SVX can be a 13 second car N/A. I hit 14.5 with the most power N/A to date... That .5 seconds to 13's is a big jump...

no, as of right now I set the fastest N/A timeslip to date that I know of. Not to pick at it but seriously, those .5 seconds ae gonna be hard to lose. With some serious stripping of the car it might be possible but I was/am not ready to do that

Oh I see what I did.
I was remembering this quote and at the time your 1/4 slip was in your sig but I didn't realize it was adjusted already for the .3 second. So how is the tire and clutch situation?

Clutch probly exploded by now and the tires are surely bald. the reason?

Bringing a Z background into this...
anyone who is considering this as an option I strongly recomend going to z31.com and inquiring about the reliability of Paeco on the message board. There are a string of horror stories from the members there and a z31 is a much more common car than an svx.

Went to Z31.com but couldn't find any horror stories. Perhaps you could post the direct links to the threads. I'd like to read them.
I've dealt with Paeco and the work I've had done has been top notch. However, I think they are over priced on much of their work and they take FRIGGIN' FOREVER to get any work done. If they tell you a day...make it a week, if they say a week....count on it taking a month. Sometimes the only way to get things moving is to email Karl every friggin day, and even that may not work. Anyway, I figure they have big dollar customers that come first and the rest of us get pushed to the end of the line. Considering the added cost of shipping/handling, you'd more likely be better off finding a quality shop, within driving distance, to work on your block/crank/heads. Any custom parts you may need can be purchased/custom ordered elsewhere. |

But, the front wheel that spins initially will heat up and start grabbing the road. At that point power will be sent to the other wheel. I imagine on good pavement it is a constant struggle. Only in snow or sand where traction cannot be met does it become useless.
