Can we get back to the question at hand, please?
If you're having problems with the site how about PMing your computer related questions?
Thanks, now why is the tranny slipping? Surely with the collective knowledge and experience here someone has the answer to Rory's question. I'd like to know because I also posted a similar tranny question and still don't have any definitive answers. Anyone? Anyone? WGJ |

Hi everybody
I also have a 92 with slipage at 50-55 MPH around 3k and I believe its the brake band going. I had to replace the radiator when I got the car about 2 1/2 years ago, and the water pump. So I went under and drained the tranny and dropped the pan to change the filter, I found copper fileings (which leads me to believe its the band). Have not ordered the rebuilt kit but just got the manual from Levelten. Does anyone have any info that I should know to make the job any easier? ![]()
