Damn you guys are quick! Yup it looks like an early 90's Lotus Esprit.
The DeLorean DMC-12 and Lotus Esprit were made on the same platform. -Chike

To be more specific, it's a Lotus Esprit (most likely an S3 judging by the bumper), designed by none other than Giorgetto Giugiaro
  And to correct Chike, it was built before 87', at which time Lotus switched designers
