FS: Remanufactured Transmission
I've been through hell with the new '92 that I brought from WV last weekend. I just came to the conclusion that it definitely needs another motor. The one the PO installed was in fact bad.
So, with that said....I might sell the transmission and a few other parts and be done with it. Transmission is definitely a recent reman. It has ~68K miles. The PO said it was installed around 110K and the car now has 178K. Fluid is nice and red....looks clean. $750 picked up in Erie, PA.

BTW, either PM me or call me at (814) 746-1910 as my email is not working.
Also, will probably only be good from now until next Sat. Fact being I thought it was going to run so I registered and insured it....so I need to figure something out. If I can sell the transmission then I will part it out....other than that I will probably be driving to get another motor next weekend.

Come on, there has to be at least a few of you out there with bad trannies. I've owned 5 so I know how they eat them like a fat boy at lunch.

No, but I don't even want to hear anything bad about it not having one. I've owned enough and know enough people who have owned them.
If there are no other issues (such as bad sensors, etc...), the owner drives semi reasonable, and its taken care of then the transmission will last. My '94 had 168K on the original transmission, the doctor who owned it until 110K drove nicely and kept up fairly decent with maintenance. Now, I changed the fluid every 15K from 110K to 168K but drove it rather hard at times and it still shifted as good as when I bough it. Nothings a given. The transmission I am selling has all the updates, which is a very good thing. My '94 was one of the last and it had all the updates. Junkyards sell used trannies for $900 and up with 100K plus miles. The place I get all my parts from including the motor ($400) sells used "original" SVX trannies for $900. So, my price of $750 for a reman in excellent condition with low miles is very reasonable!
