Sorry about that large clot of words I made as a post there. What I simply wanted to say is that it is not that Subaru didn't advertise the SVX enough as they advertised it to the wrong people, it should not have been primarily automotive enthusiasts and they also could have taken the opportunity to install the 5 speed manual from the first gen WRX STi in 1994 without caring too much about "ride confort" since the SVX is not a complete grand tourer to begin with, not to mention finding ways to lighten the SVX up a bit to keep it in that 3500lb zone once passenger side airbags were introduced then.
Also, if the SVX did still exist today, would have Subaru sent the WRX stateside? And if so, would have we gotten the STi or at least would ours have been the only one as of yet with the 300hp 2.5l turbocharged H4 rather than the 2.0l? |
