You are gonna get the tranny cooler whether u like it or not. They did not list it as an option to take out.

Not sure yet. It looks like the regulator built into the alternator took a bath, and sent a surge through my system. The fusible link zapped, and so did 12 other regular fuses.

The problems are now so diverse, it's incredible. Both fans run continuously, regardless of ignition switch position, the wiper fuse (fuse 6) zaps upon insertion of a new one.. Once again, with the ignition off. And needless to say, the car won't run.

Well.... it will start at the least turn of the switch, as it always has. Engine purrs like a kitten as always. But put the thing in gear, and give a little gas, and you would think your at disney world on an E ride.

I'm very disgusted right now. I never should have drove it with this crack in my radiator.

I was just now mining for information in the Q&A section, and fooling around, I clicked on the "views" button... Trying to find something common of interest.

Anyway.... Would you believe this thread.... Yes, this thread... Has been viewed over 10 thousand times???

Not a typo... OVER TEN THOUSAND TIMES!!!

My oh my... Maybe we should start some sort of "Waitin fer dat dere rah-dish-ee-ater" reality show. We could get some redneck named Bubba to host it.

TEN THOUSAND TIMES!!! Incredible!

Hehe, I suppose I put a couple hundred of them there at least. I have been checking this thread since it started a few times a day for different reasons as the deal began, grew, finalized and now I wait to hear about the first install. After that, I suppose I will be checking it to see if anyone has any trouble with the Rad doing its job too well in the winter, resulting in the torque converter never locking up when the air temp is below 40 degrees hehe. The law of unintended consiquences I always keep an eye out for.

My purchase is now pending so soon the rad will be sitting in a corner of my garage waiting for spring, right next to my perfect stock rims.

My SVX has almost 104,000 miles on it now so its in the danger zone for a new trans but it shows no sign of trouble so far.

I have two dreams about this situation. The first is that the rad will be such an easy install that some morning when I open the garage and find the rad has installed itself in the night. (this one prolly won't come true). The other is that the new rad setup will allow my trans to last another 100,000 miles. I have hopes that may come true

Winter tranny problems

If it's cooling to well in the winter just take some black duct tape over the grill, a piece at a time. That's what I had to do with my old buick GSX in michigan and it worked.

Talked to Maria at PWR. The radiators have started to be shipped. 10 went out yesterday. Keep us informed on who gets them and such. I still want to be in the loop

We were hoping you would post those installation pictures you promised to show us the path to glorious coolant nirvana.

Soon

Money out of my account, so mine should be here soon. Radiator is a piece of cake if you clear the fans. Water pump a little more difficult, but I will let the real experts explain.

Ahhh... Answer my own "are they doing tracking numbers?" question.

Called Maria, and the answer is..... (Drum roll)............

no

They don't have all the email addresses.

But!! She looked up mine, and it is out on the truck for delivery today. I need a frame for it... Are custom picture frames expensive?

I remember reading a walk through on the water pump here on the site somewhere. I don't remember exactly where. I have to get back to work right now, but later I'll try to find it again.
