Hi

Front seats and door bolsters have been reupholstered professionally in medium gray and black leather and they look beautiful. Drilled front rotors and new rear rotors and new brake pads and wheel bearings all around....new battery too and a professionally applied "Titanium " colored tint: its flawless Does it sound like it has been well serviced?? IT HAS!!! This car was imported from the USA three years ago and is completely registered correctly in Canada. Has a brand new CD player as well. Car is available immediately .. I am looking for about $8000. CDN/ $6500.USD call me at 705 445 9554 if you want pics or more information... email me at richard.a.smith@sympatico.ca Richard Last edited by hotshoe50; 03-04-2005 at 01:13 PM. |

ramsvx, You need to understand the SVX marketvalue in Canada is higher than it is in the US. Check out www.autotrader.ca for what other SVX's are selling for here.

Earthworm....I'm with you on the the retail price diff. from US and Canada.....I commute to & from Toronto regularly...thats why I said'"price HERE".You must also take in to consideration that the US dollar just a year ago was 1.60 to our 1.00 now it's down to almost 1.15 to our 1.00!!!......Remember the majority of potential buyers will be here....IF... one is found. In fact, the car in question was orginally from the US
That said.... I wish the seller the MOST success in his sale |

Great comments
Thanks guys
Your comments are all right on the money... I think we all know that you can pick up one of these cars for 2-3 thousand dollars. BUT (note BUT!!!!) once you rebuild the transmission, reupholster the seats in correct leather, add a set of 17" wheels and new tires, put new snows on the stock wheels, upgrade the brakes and install all new wheel bearings as well as rustproof it completely, you are talking about a completely different animal and one that will NOT need all those things in the near future. This one also has a new alternator, brake master cyl., battery and pwr steering pump top say nothing of a contemporary CD-FM player with remote control. Cruise works, sunroof works and its got a great tint... $8500 is more than fair (in Canadian dollars) I think this is about $1500 US dollars!!!! Richard |

Sorry to see ya selling Richard. Sounds like you'll make a fellow Canadian a very happy owner though.
Best of luck and don't become a complete stranger in these parts. From what I've been told the Diamond Star forums aren't all that healthy for the soul. ![]()

If it is a 92, then it would be a Teal and not a polo green. Just a little correction on the color.
