You are mistaken. Every SVX has the foglights. Look on the left side of your steering wheel, on the dash below the instruments. See that switch next to your "Cruise" switch? The one with a picture of a light with wavy lines in front of it? That's the switch for the factory foglamps. You could also look under your hood. Located a few inches away from your headlight sockets are two more sockets on either side of the radiator. Those sockets are for the foglamp bulbs.

You are probably seeing an SVX that has had aftermarket foglamps installed and confusing those with the factory foglamps that are built into the headlight assemblies.

My car doesn't have a switch there. There are sockets that would accomodate foglamps, but they are empty. Surely this is not the only one of these cars produced without them. I am the original owner, so they haven't been removed.

If I get time today I will post pics.

I have never seen an SVX without foglamps. My computer at work (along with my older paper manual) have no mention of ANY SVX's that were built without foglamps. Even my bare-bones 94 2WD had foglamps. Something is not right here. How about you PM me your VIN so I can run it through Subaru? Or better yet, get a pic of the switch assembly with the missing fog lamp switch.

All 4 of mine have foglights, including the 94 LE.

Has the car ever been wrecked??
