Rotor question
Larry noticed that my cross drilled/slotted rotors were installed incorrectly. I figured that my install shop knew what they were doing. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm wondering if this has this damaged my rotors, and more importantly can they be salavged by turning them.

Are they backwards? I am not sure what the problem is. The pic is either too close, or too far away for me to see what they really look like. What is the rotation on the first pic?

The closeup pic is of the front driver side wheel. I guess that the crossdrilled pattern should go in the opposite direction?

it should rotate in the same direction of the wheel, not against.

I really doubt that you did any damage by putting them on that way. You should be able to just flip them around. If you want to be sure everything is ok, get them turned. All rotors are turned going in the same direction.

I don't think any damage has been done either. I would just turn them around.

About 2 weeks ago I got the slotted dimpled rotors performance pads ( from race concepts ) & the braided lines ( birthday gift ) Installed them myself with a bud & flushed the master cylnder & she brakes like crazy ( pedel is rock hard till they get just a bit warm then seems PERFECT )
however this thread just made me go look at my brake job & I find that my fronts go with( opposite you'rse & my rears go against ( same as you'rse. but i had to stare to see that lol. So being that they seem to work awsome I think I will leave them like that ( I allready had them turned wehn I got them )

From what i've heard it doesn't really matter. with the slots leaning forward is supposed to reduce pad wear i believe... but like i said, from what i've heard mechanics say, it doesn't matter.
