Eibach springs only for 97 year model?

Ok I know that I remeber seeing someone bring this up once about some site that had the SVX listed as having a spring set, but then people said it wasnt true.

So Im just messin' around on the tirerack.com site and I punch in 97 SVX (even though i have a 92) and it has suspension:springs: and bam! Eibach's for the SVX, now before everyone tells me it aint true; notice that if you put any other year than 97 (92-96) it doesnt have a button for suspension?? What gives? thanks here is the link :

Chris,

The fellow I met last week (James) with the '92 silver/black SVX said he had Eibach springs on his car. In fact, he even had the Eibach decal on his SVX.

The Ground Control Springs in my suspension setup say Ebiach on the side of them... So the GC springs are actually made by Ebiach... Funny huh??

So is there any difference in the suspension setup for the 97 model year? I'd be interested in some eibachs.

This is a myth. It is a typo on the tire rack site. Do a search. It has been discussed many, MANY times.

Springs

I got em. They are real real stiff. Are you doing them with Konis? There is a progressive rate spring option now available. I would recommend this. I can't stand them. They do perform well though. I may get the progressive rates and keep them for autocross.
