Assistance appreciated
Driving home this week my SVX began to run hot when in stop and go traffic. It is fine when going 30 mph+. I raised the hood. The fans were not operating. The a/c fuse was blown. A search suggested that this could be the cause. Any suggested as to determine the cause of the a/c fuse being blown on start up. The a/c and engine cooling worked fine until a transmission cooler was placed in front of the radiator. The steering rack has also been replaced this week. All work was done by ASE mechanics. Again, any suggestions would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. ;-) THANX- daluvabull |

Problem solved - yea!
THANKS for your time and consideration. Seems the techs used self-tapping screws to support the brackets for the transmission cooler. Yep- right through the wiring bundle beneath the front cross member. New bolts, fuse and black tape did the job.
Again thanks! The abundance of inoformation in and search function of this site is always a good place to start. Have super day! |
