Re: HID Relay harness
I have never needed to use a relay kit for the Lava Lux 35 watt set.

Re: HID Relay harness
The DDM Tuning ones are plug and play; no relays required.

Re: HID Relay harness
My headlights keep burning out and my HID fogs do not work AT ALL! I tried buying a relay and it did nothing.. I don't know if you'll need it or not for DDM (same as my fogs).

Re: HID Relay harness
If you're using the stock headlight wiring to power your HIDs, they're already on relays.

Re: HID Relay harness
U took the words right out of my mouth . I have small transformers that attaches to the inside fender well , has a wire that attached to the original plug and that has a wire with a plug that plugs into the HID bulb that goes into the original socket .

Re: HID Relay harness
my svx had that harness in the spare tire well when i bought it. i will check to see if it's still there because i have no intention of add HIDs. the purpose of the harness and relays is to not run the amount of power that HIDs take through your stock wiring and relays, they were only designed to provide enough for stock lights. since everything on the svx seems over made you would probably be ok without it but i have seen crappier cars (hondas) that it melts the whole harness.

Re: HID Relay harness
The stock lights are 55w, the HID's I have are 35w. If you're running something higher, than yes you should run a relay.
