installed polished intake manifold and phenolic spacers today (pictures inside)
Well, I finally got around to ordering a set of Outlaw phenos for the SVX. I have a set on both of my other cars ('94 probe, '89 mx-6) and I absolutely love them, so I figured I may as well go for the trifecta!
So, I worked this morning and this afternoon I went to town on this thing. You've possibly seen my progress in polishing my intake manifold, so I'll forego any explanation there, and just give you all some pictures. Also, please forgive my qualuity of pictures. All I had on my was my cell phone, and I wanted to get some, so this is what I got. Here's how it looked when I started. Not BAD, but we can do better. Mwa ha haaa!! Here's the IM torn off. Yippee! Stuff kinda going back together here. Also, I was impressed with myself. I had the foresight to tape up the IM before putting it on. Worked very nice, and kept it clean. Just went over it again quick with the mini buffer when I was done, and it looked pretty good. You'll have to pardon the rest of my dingey enginebay though. Getting closer... And done! (but not cleaned yet) Then I washed the car and took a few other pictures too. Hope you enjoy them as well. So, that's what I did this afternoon. Wasn't really too hard, just time consuming, but worth it. Now you pop the hood and it's like there's a jewel inside. Also now I have another IM to polish, lol. ...IF someone is interested. Thanks for stopping by, amigos.
