I read his note.
I feel his pain. I have dealt with the IRS. I have cashed in my life savings to keep a job that I had to quit a year later because of stupid management.  I have been divorced. If I jump into my private plane its NOT to kill myself! Or to kill people that I have never met. There are SO many people that I HAVE met who REALLY deserve it... But I digress, I wrote this to a friend about five years ago. OK it was six years ago. I was freshly cut and still bleeding.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "In two years, psychiatrists tell us, we get over things. They say the depression goes away, and that we won't think about science projects that are unsafe. That when we meet a male on the street that we don't know, we don't look for strike points. They say we won't "carry heavy" everywhere we go. Boy are these ****ers wrong! Just kidding. It does get better, don't do anything that can damn your soul, or put you in jail. Life sucks, but it's all we know we got. Have a mimosa for breakfast, sit and watch the river flow by, tomorrow is another chance." Tonight I had a mimosa, and when spring comes, I am going to take my new dog, my best girl, go to the river, and watch it flow. Tomorrow is another chance!

Story gets sadder. The guy burned down his own house before setting out to burn down the IRS building. I also read an opinion piece that claimed he tried to claim his house as a church for tax purposes, and the IRS denied it; but I can't find any attributions for that.
