A Few ECUTune Questions...
how many people here run the 87 octane version of stage one? How much performance increase do you see? Gas mileage? What octane do you have to run to run the normal stage 1?

Thank you for that amazingly smart reply, but some actual information would be nice

I can't speak from experience, but the general consensus is that there will be only a slight (if any) performance increase using the 87 octane code, and your gas mileage will remain about the same.
The normal stage I code has no requirements other than those of the SVX

Ok while looking at it, it says there are two codes the first one, which they recomend 91 ocatane, and the second spot which is optimized for 87 octane, you're saying this is not much difference?

Quote:
Mode #1 - Increased performance (up to +30hp) using the same gas you would normally use (91+ octane). Mode #2 - Allows you to use 87 octane (cheaper than 91 octane) without engine knocking. Small performance boost.
