Gauging Interest:92 Pearl W/92K miles

I bought a 1992 Pearl LS-L today to repair and fix up. It has 92K miles and I just replaced the front diff and tranny seals. The vin is:JF1CX3532NH100967 and the build date is 5-91. The transmission was rebuilt in 99 with 50,600 showing on the odometer. and in 01 the water pump, timing belt, two idler pulleys and belts were replaced by Wheeling Subaru. The car had 72731 miles showing when this was done. It now shows 92198 and I am the 4th owner. The car is in very good shape and everything but the right mirror, ABS, and radio are working(which I will fix). It also needs new rear wheel bearings which I will take care of while the car is in my ownership. The only body flaws are flaking paint on the plastic bumpers, a few typical door dings, and a dent under the driver side back window that cracked the paint, But isn't that bad and can be fixed. I'm sure the miles are accurate. The guy has the records and so on. Plus, you can run a carfax on it with the vin number I supplied.

So far I've gotten a good amount of interest in this SVX. If somebody will commit to buying it I'll make the purchase and begin fixing it. I in no way, shape, or form can afford to buy it without a buyer lined up and ready to go. I'd need money up front and the rest when I deliver the car to you. I just don't want to get stuck like last time with a car I can't get rid of and get forced to part it. The guy needs it gone ASAP or he is going to part it. SAVE THIS SVX!

UPDATE:

Assembled the diff and it's all ready to be put in the car. The exhaust will be getting fixed up to be new car quiet also. I expect it to finally be done and up for sale in the next 3 weeks, hopefully much sooner. I'm going to crank up the heat in the shop to about 65 or so and wash,wax, and polish this car from top to bottom, in and out once all mechanical issues are fixed. I plan to offer the car on the network here for a day or two and take offers, But if I don't get what I want I'll go to ebay. More updates to follow.

UPDATE:
It LIVES! Got the diff in and everything bolted up and she runs flawlessly through all 4 gears. Now it's on to a few small details, But it is officially for sale now. The current price is $4,000 dollars as is. I will take and send pics and scans of all the records and receipts for the car to anyone showing interest. It is fully documented starting at 26K miles when the second owner bought it in Ft. Leavenworth, Ks. in 1997 for $15,000. It has thousands of dollars of repairs done, All within the last 40K miles and all by professionals and I have ALL receipts.
The Good:Most of the suspension and steering in the front is new, Tranny rebuilt at 51K miles, ALL new seals on the engine at 72K miles, Front diff installed by me, and LOTS more.
The only bad points are:
The paint is flaking on the rear and front bumpers(has been touched up by previous owner to keep it form getting worse)
It has a small dent behind the drivers door under the rear window(very fixable)
It has a few dings in the pass. side door
small exhaust leak

Overall, this is a beautiful SVX that has been well taken care of and just needs a few small details to be FLAWLESS. PM me here or email me at budfreak1@aol.com for questions. Thanks, Jason

Well, I ended up fixing my van up and the pearly blew a front tranny seal. I'll be pulling the tranny and replacing the seals in the next week. I'm dropping the price to $3,000 dollars.

Haha. I could bring my winch down and saw it in half . Winch=350 GM smallblock with a big spool of cable where the wheel should go. I've seen it saw through metal in seconds.

Jason, this svx is a 92 right. I forget if its an lsi. I believe your price is still high even with the 1,000 dollar drop.

How is road demon doing anyway? You could keep this one and drive while road demon sits pritty to race.
