Anyone else interested in a 6-speed. I just got a message from someone that they have a complete set including Brembo's. Hmmmmm, I wonder if the breaks will fit my car.

I wish I had a set to find out. But I think I spent enough for awhile.

$5000 for stage III
$1000 fees to get the car home after blown tranny
Currently at $5000 on the tranny and I havent finish paying your labor yet.

That's alot in a 12 year old car that I only paid $8000 for.

Break up grade is on the list though. I can upgrade the power without looking into stopping the car.

I want to do the exterior first though.

this thing is going to be the fastest SVX ever, i dont think you need to feel bad about the money you have put into it. In all honesty, you will feel so satisfied about how it performs i dont think you will remember the $$!!!

Ok well, if I could I would change the title of this thread to Completion of the Stage III 6 speed. I finally got all of the parts and took the night off of school to come home and polish it up. The car runs!!! and as far as I know it goes really fast in reverse!!(only pulled it out of the garage). For some crazy reason I told Mike he would be the first one to test drive it cuz... well frankly he has been waiting too long for this to be the second person to drive it... Anyway, Mike is heading up my way on Saturday around 1pm to test drive the car... fingers crossed that he is able to drive it home with him Mike, might want to pick up a shift knob, I don't have any extras to throw on there and I know from experience, driving without one sucks

How painful it must be to have the keys to THAT car... You have a tremendous will to resist.

I have an extra shift knob off the four speed from my Brat, but Mike's probably gonna want something nicer

Yeah but he just needs something for now to get it home. I hated driving my car without a knob... justa big PITH. I have no real desire to drive the car mostly in the fear of selling my soul for the StageIII kit myself. Plus, I know how Mike feels with not driving it after waiting so long to get the kit... It just sucks for him that he had to wait this long. Figured he should be the first...Cuz im such a moral guy and all

Yeah Moral...

If it comes down to it, I know on the older soobs the threads on the shifter are the same as the threads on the wheel studs.

A SVX lug nut would be better than the naked shaft
