Re: What do the two tiny little vacuum lines off the throttle body control?

The problem is I don't know what circumstances trigger the EGR to open. Removing vacuum may lock it open full time, as opposed to closed. Mine will have a small block-off plate on the outlet that normally connects to the manifold.

I'll be ditching the canister but keeping it's vacuum source on the throttle body to pipe into my vacuum manifold, which in turn distributes it to whatever I want. The return line I'll just plug and hide away. I'm also opening up the electrical harness that lives under the intake manifold and re-routing the wires to tuck them away a little better, as well as replacing all the nasty old wire loom with braided sleeving.
