Okay, thanks guys.

Equipment and tools aren't an issue, I work at a garage here. Part sourcing is though, there are no SVXii in town and zero chance of finding an EG33 lying around. If I was able to that would be my choice, but it's just not doable.

Cam, fully hypothetically now, if you removed the wrist pins first, why wouldn't you be able to split the block? The rods will just fall out of the pistons. My thought was to avoid unseating the rings.
