If 'torque and low end power' is your bag, try to find the FMX, cast middle trans to fit the 302-351 Windsor-300 six. It will help kill your gas mileage but sure is a LOT of fun to drive! ( and it is more 'forgiving' than a c-6 if it gets a little low on fluid) I put one in my 61 droF about 20 years ago, after I killed a few c-6's.
What are you, high?!
You can't kill a C6!!!
I pulled a barn across town with a 460 and a C6!!!
NASA uses a C6 in its Mars mission!!!
Just how fast do you drive anyway!!??!!??

Wait, didn't you just drive my Claret?
