Cons? As said above, it's pointless. Yes, there are heatshields up and down the exhaust, but they are hardly a critical item. Many, many members have removed them as they start to loosen and rattle, with no ill effects. Wrapping your manifolds will be tricky (they're basically a curved cone shape, so there's no good way to secure the wrap at the thick end and keep it from sliding down and loosening), cost money, take time, and not really get you anywhere.
