Nate, it depends on how you stretch the tube.
If you do not disconnect the tube, and just stretch it in place, (as in lift up the intake manifold with an engine crane), then you do not need the egr tube gaskets. If you remove the tube for a more accurete stretch, then you will need the egr gaskets. I have used both methods, and they both work.
When we do Chi ke's or Bill's car we will give a "better studied" report.
