Re: Play in front diff bearings
Okay, thanks Tom. I figured it wasn't a bad thing, as most bearings I've seen with significant play in them are also very crunchy. Turns out the thumping I was hearing was a loose wheel. When I put my winters on last week some rust flakes fell between the wheel and rotor. I guess these compressed/fell out over the week and allowed the lug nuts to loosen up. All 4 have been cleaned.hand torqued.
