I'm going to let the more experienced folks answer that for you. I know it's a possible cause, but I don't have the experience or knowledge to tell you how to fix it.

That solenoid is what controls the AWD transfer clutch, and when it gets cranky it applies either full or zero line pressure (not sure which) to the clutch , the end result of which is that your front and rear wheels are being forced to turn at the same speed. In tight turns where the wheels follow different radii through the curve, a couple are either dragged or forced to skip ahead.
