Neither did I when I bought my first one for $130.00, and the next couple for about $45.00 each.
There are a couple of guys selling them for the same price, and a barely used one for like $7.00, last I checked.
The newer model ones are more informative, but ALOT more money.
The big thing is that these are safer than a stop watch, and lighter than a passenger holding one.
