Search "advance axle" or something, they have been discussed before.
Cliffnotes is that they work and are cheap with a lifetime warranty. The right and left are identical. I had one put in for $50 once, and have done them myself since then. C/V axles are easy, any shop should be able to handle it. Just inform them that there is a spring pin holding the axle to the splined shaft sticking out of the trans. They will need to hammer it out with a punch and put it back (technically they aren't supposed to re-use it but it's not a big deal). DON'T let them overtorque the axle nut, b/c wheel bearing... Also you'll need a new axle nut so that they can get a proper torque spec on it (not sure how important that actually is).
