I yanked out my strait 6 in my 83 F150 and dropped in a 351Winsor.
It bolted right up to the C6, and Ford had the motor mounts I needed.
Had to change rads, but PICKED up 1 mpg, and had twice the power!
Using that logic I went up to a thirsty 460,
twice the power again and lost 6.5 mpg!
