Is it a tranny mount?
What kinda issues could arrise from this?
what are some good indications on atf change?
No clue when the last change was or if it has even been changed?
The fluid currently looks milky reddish brown colored? any suggestions?

A clunking noise associated with throttle input COULD be a transmission mount, an engine mount, BOTH engine mounts, a rear differential mount, slop in the drivetrain, a loose bolt, ect.
If you don't know when the ATF was changed then its a good time to change it.
If the ATF is milky or brown its WAY past time to change it.
To change it just safely jack up the car, use jackstands, take a 17mm wrench and undo the transmission drain plug draining the ATF into a container.
You should get about one gallon of ATF in about 1/2 hour.
Replace it, and drive the car.
Do it again after at least 20 miles.
ATF is MUCH cheaper than a transmission!
