Tried it. Problem is partly that it's a fitting, not a bolt, so the fitting is not as sturdy and will strip easier. Now that I'm thinking of it, I might take a torch to it later and see if that does it.

Not at all, but pictures don't last forever, and text does. In a couple days, no one will know that you suggested I try PB blaster, because the URL will be broken.
