There wern't any stored codes. putting the fuse in the FWD solved the immediate catching problem. So now, which of the above solutions is the one to do?

Otherwise the car runs great. Please...

Ok - the reference the mechanic and the tranny guy he called both said it was on the right side of the car. Obviously whatever reference they are looking at either faces the car or is mistaken.

Ok, as I understand the previous posts
1. the trans/awd fuse is located in the normal fuse box under the hood. correct?
2. there isn't supposed to be a fuse in the trans/awd place? If there is...

I've replaced two radiators in the last 3 years. Are the SVX subaru radiators defective? It appears that there are too many problems.

92 SVX Fuse

My mechanic says the mauals tell him the transmission (4wd/) fuse is on the right side of the car. Fuse boxes are on the left. Is there a special place for this fuse? he can't find it and the fuse...

I'm so glad to be back in California where it is spring now - but after 5 years in Chicago and many ice storms I learned to use a windshield cover that woud wrap around and stick throught the front...
