Re: Dragoontwo's 6mt swap
I do have some newer overlays that work. I'm not so happy about the way they turned out, but I also haven't gotten the colored lights to try them with that I wanted either. I haven't been able to...

Re: Rebuilding Axles
The hub splines are the same count. Not sure if the axle parts would swap, though.
The differential ends of the shaft are different.

Re: are the svx lug nuts self centering?
I'm going to go with probably not, seeing that they are a shank type nut instead of a tapered seat. The wheels are hub centric though, which is better anyways.

Re: Tire Fitment
Don't forget to also compare them against the '97 tire size of 215/55R16. Then the 235/45R17 is almost identical. I run 235/45R17 and the speedometer is pretty dead on with the GPS.

Re: Question about a used Transmission
Clutch packs are only part of the transmission strength equasion. I'm not speaking for or against the 4.44.
However, the 4.44 gearing will be easier to get moving than the 3.54 gearing. That...

Since you guys are more interested in bashing me instead of taking anything I say into consideration here you go. My reply did mean the stock ignitor, and I did not say without any...

Re: The beginnings of a Megasquirt how-to guide
It can be done easily. Why limit yourself by using the stock ignitor that will only work with a handful of coils, instead of using the MS2 to drive ANY coil you would want to swap onto it.

Re: The beginnings of a Megasquirt how-to guide
Take a look at the MS2 extra manual. You add the required components when you do it. Using a BIP373, it becomes possible. It looks like they changed it up a bit since I built mine. I could have...
