um yea your really missing the idea that the heads have nothing in common. most notably ej22t = sohc, eg33 = dohc. hell even the spark plugs are not in the same place in the combustion chamber......

^ very true. But you could beat that one of two ways. Tell them That it no longer has abs and pay the difference. Or pull the abs dash light and replace it with a dud and claim you never knew.

Did you jack up the front of the transmission as much as possible? you shouldn't have to loosen the cross member to get the engine back in.
