Re: New Product Review (Leather Dye)

My steering wheel still looks great, my drivers side seat bolster is showing some mild wear again (cracks), but still looks much better than it did before the treatment.

Over all has held up very well after almost 2 years. (The car is not garaged either). I should treat the drivers seat again but it really isn't bad enough yet to worry about it.

I highly recommended this product.

Yes, I think you could say yes. Because it is a repair or maintenance treatment, you may have to do it from time to time. I found that once it has been applied, if you treat the leather with a leather product, it will last longer because of the protection.

Re: New Product Review (Leather Dye)

It holds up quite will. You need to reapply once in a while and then put something on it to protect it.

.

Spoke with him recently.

Just type in seatsrestore in ebay search and you'll see he is still around. He still does the SVX colors but doesn't have them listed on ebay right now.

His name is Ronn Stark and you can contact him directly at seatsrestore4u2@gmail.com

Or go http://tinyurl.com/67acldr

NOTE: He doesn't ship his products during the winter months to avoid freezing enroute or sitting in your mailbox.

Re: New Product Review (Leather Dye)

Guys, I know this is an old thread, but I recently tried SeatsRestore and wanted to check something. Gray interior with some minor cracking on the seat bolsters. I followed the instructions, applying the product with the applicator brush that came with it. I did NOT go over it or buff it with a rug, like Earl did in his first post. Now, when it all dried, the color wasn't exactly right (there was a bluish tint to it) and even though I applied it pretty thin, instead of filling in the cracks, it ended up creating a thin layer that was slightly rough to the touch (at least rougher than the untreated leather). I followed the instructions for tapping the applicator, but did go over it with damp rug - it was mentioned, but wasn't clear if that's a mandatory step. I'm planning to reach out to Ronn to see if I did anything wrong, but figured maybe someone on here could expose the error of my ways. (@svxcess)

Thanks!
