Dates for Reading 20
.
Since it looks like the traditional Reading dates are not practical this year, there is the possibly of having it later in the year. The location in Morgantown is the e same, just different dates. I am posting a preliminary poll to gauge interest. Warmer weather, most vaccinations will have been completed and restrictions will have been reduced. Please make your preferences known. You can make multiple choices. .

I don't have a hard preference so I am not going to vote. Happy to see the later dates and the continued interest. In general I would think that later = better, in terms of virus recovery prospects.

I don't really have a preference. I just voted for Aug 27-29 because my birthday's on the 30th.
 Not totally sure If I'll be able to make it, even if it is held. Got a bit of work to do before ye olde Pace Car is travel-worthy. We'll see. Wish me luck.

No guarantees but the best weather dates are the last weekend in August and the October 15-17 weekend, historically speaking. October is also less likely to be god awful hot.

The Poll is closing in less than 3 weeks. We have 5 different dates, with 1 vote each, so no majority. If things don’t change I’ll just pick a date and be done with it. For the first Reading in two years, I am surprised at the dismal level of enthusiasm. Only 5 votes? .

I wouldn't take it as an indication of enthusiasm about having an SVX meet up, instead take it as a indication of the level of enthusiasm for doing meetups/travel during a pandemic.
I would love to go to Redding one year, no way am I going during a pandemic. (Even if it was in Redding California!) Regards, Ian.
