I'm thinking that these mileages must vary from year to year, plus as we can see we sometimes get new lower miles people and cars in the frame. I'm suggesting we need to refresh this list yearly on a selected anniversary date. On this date every year each owner in the list would get a request to furnish the current mileage for their selected car. Or cars, as some have.  . Putting in this new figure will bring the list to the front of new posts. If we have new members with lower miles cars, they may respond and we can then rectify and update the list again.Any suggestions or comments? Joe

Well, I know low miles tends to add value with collectors cars, which I am convinced the SVX will be, one day.
What I find reassuring is the fact that Tony [desertrunner] has put over 500K kms on his '95, with 445K kms of that on the original engine! That is over 300K miles of exceptionally tough driving in a harsh environment. To me, that means that the SVX is as tough as old leather, and even with all the whining about bad bearings and failing gearboxes, buying an SVX with 90,000 or 100,000 miles on it, the car is barely run in.  Not too many other cars around with that sort of life and durability. Joe

There's a guy I work with who went to Subaru training in Pittsburg last week and he said the have and engine with over 860k. I can't remember which engine it was though.

Weebitob has not posted for quite a while and I understand from another member that his mileage has changed as well. I will look into this because a member who would never respond would remain at the same mileage from that point on even though it would change. I would say that if someone didn't respond after a period of time would then be replace with a current member. Just a thought.
