What an SVX convertible might have looked like...

Just playing around in Photoshop tonight and came up with this idea of what an SVX convertible might have looked like. What do you think?

Too bad we need that roll bar, like in the VW Cabrio and the PT Cruiser convertible.

One of the network members played with this around 2004.

The trademark windows which define the SVX would be missing. The challenge would be to design the top which would not destroy the lines of the car. That's a lot of real estate to cover

To keep the windows, you would have to resort to something like this JDM Legacy Touring Sedan

Change the angle of the bar so that it is leaning back not forward.

I kicked around the idea once of getting a second svx to chop the top off of, plus it would give me a full set of spare glass.
1992 SVX Pearlie: AmsOil signature synthetic 10w40 and Ea15k20 filter, Cobb crank pulley, Outlaw Engineering spacers and tb bypass, LGT 5spd, Slotted Crossdrilled rotors and ceramic pads, 11:1 compression, EGR delete, Port & Polished heads, SaikoMichi catch can, A/c delete.
