Description:Transmission repair shop with a long local history - recommended to me by the garage I usually do business with (they don't do trannys) and by the mechanics at the local military base. Pulled up with tranny in back of Toyota 4Runner. As I opened back they said, "Ah, Subaru box, probably clutches huh?" before I had said a word. $1600 for rebuild w/Warranty but I pulled and replaced the unit - said $2200 if they did it all. 8 months later all's still well.
