New exhaust tips

I have some noise coming out of my left exhaust tip. For some odd reason its only the left one. I want to buy new tips but i want to know first if i can buy any old tip.. I want to try out the round tips instead of the classic svx flat tips. Also I'm going to need some instructions on how to replace them.

The easiest way to replace your tips will be to buy a set that you like and have any muffler shop put them on...

They'll need to cut off the stock ones and weld the new ones on to the pipes. Should be very inexpensive and quick.

ahhh Chike your the man! Those tips look awesome. I dont even know which one would look best with my car. Maybe you could help me out. I dont see any of the prices listed there though.

Magna Flow doesn't sell their products directly as they have resellers.

The main thing to look at when selecting tips is to note the size. Anything over 3.5-4" is going to be huge and look kinda ricey on you car. Go with what you like. I kinda like the oval tips, but a lot of people like the dual round tips that the Stebro has...

Tips wouldn't change the sound any. Biggest things that will affect the sound of your exhaust note are:

1) muffler
2) resonator

A cheap way to get a more aggressive sound (not desirable to everyone), is to have the stock resonator cut out and a straight pipe welded in its place. Otherwise, by an aftermarket resonator and muffler. Since our cars have a 'one pipe in two pipes out' design, any camaro muffler from flowmaster or magnaflow will work.

Dont cut the resonator out unless it's buzzing. It makes the car sound almost..."robotic". It's really weird.

Here are my tips...dont ask me what they are, or where they are from, because I dont know. I just picked them off the wall of the place that did my exhaust.

Just another style idea.
