confession of a v8 killer

I have been getting emails about why do people race me if they know that I have a zex kit ,well they don't.I think I may have the only svx with a truly hidden bottle, pop my trunk nothing look inside the car, nothing but I CONFESS fold down my back seat and I have a small space where my bottle is mounted to a false wall, looking thru the trunk it appear to be my rear seat but its my fake wall holding a purple bottle. Also under the hood loom is covering everything to cause confusion and my zex unit is painted red to match my car.Getting my personalize plate soon it will piss certain people off but the car has the looks and 330 hp to back it up.Here goes UNVMYSVX.My car is on motorsportwarehouse customer rides walter from nc,but it has black wheels now ,paint and new hood are in the works.

Sounds like a nice setup. Tell me, do you have the wet or dry Zex setup? I have a dry setup on my XT6 and will be switching to a wet setup soon as I get it back on the road. I'd like to push for a 75-100hp shot as well.

Get some 1/4 mile times. Also, get some 4.11 or 4.44 gearing in there. That car will be lightning fast.

zex setup

I have a dry setup,I would recommend a dry setup because since the injectors supply the fuel its a better setup than wet.I use a 100 shot and my a/f ratio still show that the mixture is rich, also having fwd the normal setup of the kit will result in wheelspin,I got a accessory button from autozone next to my shifter with two lights red an blue.Your zex unit taps into the tps voltage my button stop that tps signal until I have traction thats when I engage my zex unit, that zex switch would draw too much attention so I replace it with a button.

1/4mile times

My times reflect mods that work and my car weigh 3350 with me in it I'm 6 6 245.On motor my best is 2.32 60 ft 9.58 at 76 1/8 and a 14.78 at 96 on motor-100 shot 2.21 60ft 8.87 at 83and 13.72at 105mph 1/4 mile.I think the factory stats on my car are way off ,its very light for a svx its a 94 fwd svx not even an L model according to the vin numbers.

Those are awesome times!!!!

Besides the NOS, what else have you done to the car? 14.78 @ 96 is an excellent time for any SVX (FWD or AWD)!!!

BTW, are your 1/4 mile times from a G-Tech or did you run at a track?

In that case, you would have an LE. That's what I have. Is there only one airbag and automatic seatbelts?

track times

My times were all at the track,my intake have been ported out and my heads have been milled and ported, underdrive pulley ,coldair intake with custom ramair, full exhaust with no cats, custom made grounding kit flowmaster under the rear axle, racing belt crank and alternator only, level 10 valve body shift kit, also my car ran 15.2 at91mph when it was purchase with 68k on the clock,it has dyno'd 221whp and 315whp on the spray.I'm finished with the motor for now until I can find a stroker kit,I'm bragging but my car is very fast mach1s do not stand a chance with this svx 350z eagle turbos, modded hondas are a joke.

Re: track times

Wow! That's an amazing set-up you have there... Good numbers on the dyno, and those were sweet times at the track!

How expensive is your whole set-up? Sounds like it must've set you back a few bucks!

so that Mach1 had around 380hp at the crank? either Ford's hp estimates are VERY conservative, the car was modded, or its time to calibrate the dyno.
