Mike, you're not even IN Pittsburgh! you're in the snow belt - no snow in Pittsburgh last week. .....and stay away from the Iron City, yuk. Penn Pilsner is MUCH better

Snow belt? I thought it was the smelter/open hearth furnace belt.

Is it true that Iron City's unique taste comes from filtered steel mill water?

As a Ranger fan living in the Philly area, I will say; "GO PENGUINS."

the taste comes from the refreshing waters of the Monongahela River, the dirtier of the three. GO PENGUINS! - Lemieux ain't playin' too bad for an old timer?

Iron City

Ah come on the stuff isn't that bad besides you get Steelers Cans! Its no worse than Yuengling and everyone is touting that as some sort of good beer. I always make sure I start the steelers season with a case that way when they loose the opener I'm drunk as a skunk and peeing like crazy. I would second Fallingwater. Granted I've been there maybe 8 or 9 times now but any FLW building is worth that kind of attention.

Pittsburgh

I live about 25 miles north of Pittsburgh and didn't get any snow.
Of course typical Pa weather consists of rain, snow, sleet and sunshine all within a 10 mile radius at any given time.

I'm up for a falling water trip. We could all hang out down at ohiopyle after wards.

I prefer rolling rock and molsens to any other beer. I'm more of a vodka drinker.

Rochester

Rochester is about an hour south of the Rock. 79 to sewickley, 65 through Ambridge etc. I think I'm the only SVX in Beaver County.

Yeah, I live in Beaver County. The towns of Beaver and Beaver Falls. Not to mention Big Beaver and Little Beaver Townships and home of the Beaver River........ Many other Beaver things too. People get a kick how much Beaver is around here.

Did I mention how much I lack in maturity.....sigh...28 going on 12 I guess.

Well, we've just added another Beaver to your list (Carl Beaver AKA Beav), the ace mechanic that always turns up with a solution to SVX ills.

Understandably, Beav hangs out at Hooters.

Hey, whats wrong with hanging out at hooters? We go about once a week for some fosters and buffalo style wings.
The real question is - does beav have a hooters preferred customer card?

Count me and the wife in for the meet also - I've never seen pittsburgh up close
