Its actually the 2nd most hideous design they ever made after their first car. If it was up to me I'd much prefer a Vixen, Griffith 200 or a 3000m drop head.

You got it backwards on the Tuscan, Cerbera. Both were designed before the Viper from my reading. They just lacked the cash to get it beyond the paper form until they made some money on the S2 and second coming of the Griffith. So in reality the Viper is an way overweight and underpowered copy of the Tuscan or Cerbera without a body kit.
