Are you looking for the electrical or the plumbing?

basically what I'm trying to figure out is why there are 3 fuel hoses coming out next to the intake manifold rather than just two. Are there 2 feed lines and one return, or 2 returns and 1 feed?

From front to rear;
Fuel Supply -> engine (high pressure hose, screw clamp)
Fuel Return -> tank (high pressure hose, screw clamp)
Fuel Vapor -> cannister by ABS pump (fuel vapor hose, spring clamp)

your tank cannot vent and will prob cause vapor lock unless you are plugging the engine side only

here's why I'm asking for a diagram. I'm building a custom fuel tank and the tank is going to have a vent, but the Porsche fuel system is obviously different than the Subaru system. I haven't decided if I'm going to be running any emissions controls so I'm not sure if I'm going to vent through a charcoal canister or just to the atmosphere. If I can pass a visual inspection without it, then I won't put it in. I just need to know how the Subaru system works so I can modify the fuel rails with AN fittings and fun the fuel lines in a way that will work with the engine controls.
