metal or plastic?
ok i have been frustrated with this whole thing about plastic air intake or metal ones, i have a plastic one on my svx but people laugh when they see that, why is it that metal intakes are preferd over plastic, metal is a conducter where as, plastic is kinda just nuetral....

I laugh when I see cone filters stuffed into hot engine bays... then i tell the person to rip it out cuz they'll get better "throttle response"... some people believe me, and risk serious damage to their 1.8L
