my 1st svx

i finaly decided to introduce me to all of you fantastic svx peoples
my name is bart(sobiebart)from baltimore,md
at the begining i need to ask yuor forgiveness
my english is not so good because i'm polish guy and only 4 years in this gret country.i also have litle experience with fast computer typing and understanding some net subjects,but i'm working on it!
i'm a member for about 4 weeks now sice that i was reading a lot about my new baby on this web site an some other places and i know that you(we ?)guys and girls!!! are amazing!!!
so 6 weeks ago i decided to get my 1st svx!
so i went web searchung and reading to prepare my self and then i got HER
She i 1992 ls-l 106k and i love Her
i was not sure if i was gonna keep Her after ifoun that i overpaid(a lot<but money is alreddy spent so what can i do?)and i was struggling to get Her inspected(needed new ps pump and belt new exhoust pie ,2 tires,2 front rotors and pads)
i had it all done(except for rotors and pads-i did it my self on wall mart parikg lot due to lack of garage or back yard)at my local subaru dealer(i dont know no good subaru mechanic in my area-can some point me in right shop?)
She was there for two weeks due to parts ordering problems
i got Her back 2 hours ago and i was happy like bay getting his favorite toy back!I LOVE HER!
now i gona have to plan what to do on Her next(trany is good and i'm sarting to saveing for 6MT but She got some oil leaks -not major but not small and i think front suspension-when dring 20mph and up the sering wheel is studering wery slightly but ican feel it and when breaking it is getting worse and also worse when in left or right turn and some time depends on haw gas pedal is pushed-any ideas?(i had it before putting new rotors and i have an aligment done on Her)
i'm gona ride Her gently for a yer and try to save some money for 6MT and then maybe turbo in next 2 years(o yeah i know She is gonna be with mee till death separate us) and finaly i will give Her new copper coat l(ike my wife's 2005 nissan murano se awd)with some black!
thank you all and dont get mad if i'm not gonna response to fast but like you know it is a little hard to me to type( it took me 1 hr to write this!(but i love to read)and i work 10 hours 6 days a week and i need tospend time witch my wife and my 6 year old son Hubert

Hi Bart,

Welcome to the site. Your writing isn't too bad, I have seen worse. Don't let the repairs get you down. If you keep the attitude where you will have the car till death eventually you will have replaced everyting=new SVX! I have relatives in poland, which part are you from?

Congratulations Bart, and I commend you for your time and effort in posting. Dont worry about your writing, it will get better each time. My parents are from Italy, and my mechanic is from Czechoslovakia, so I know how you feel.

i used to live neaer warsaw,then when i got married i moved to gdansk.
thank you for your reply.i'm not going to replace everyting in Her most will depend on money and luck in finding right people to help ie a little.

aww i was driving my svx on the chesapeake bay bridge late one night after i put my magnaflow exhaust on, when you hit those tunnels turn off the radio put your windows down and hear the roar!

What color is it? Post some pics.

Copper color is nice, one of the members here Michelle had her SVX repainted to that color.

color is claret and i realy like it but since she got so many dents and scratches i'm gona have to re paint her in future and i realy love that copper with black
yes i have seen michelles svx,looks very nice

and dont worry michelle it wont hapend this year cose i need to take care of her mechanical side first then i'm gonna work on her look

i have drove her once thru ft.mchenry tunel in balto with bad exhoust and she sounded awsome!
but now when exh is fixed i can bearly her her runing!

(i live in pery hall-21236)i have seen a green one 3 weeks ago with some 45 lady behinde the wheel.
