brakes

hi i just changed my breaks and rotors and now im having a ton of problems. first as i was getting the rotors off i broke the ABS gear ring thing that is there. now my abs are giving me problems until the light goes on in the dash. then there is a clunking coming as i stop when im reversing in the front drivers side. now yesterday there is a knocking in the same side and i can feel it in my foot. lugs are tight and i went over everything. any suggestions?
thanks
dave

You may have another piece of the broken ABS tone ring in the wheel.

I broke the tone ring in my 98 Legacy on Sunday. I forgot to put the two lug nuts on to hold the rotor in place. Then I kicked the rotor because I could get the lower ball joint off. Oh well live and learn and forget and learn again.

You can pull the fuse and drive it without ABS.

yeah im gonna pull the fuse today. i still need the knocking and crap to go away.. i tried to save some money doing it myself.. man what a project. the 2 front calipurs had frozen slides. the rear passenger side was frozen pretty much all together. the rotor actually had rust where the breaks are supposed to rub. hahaha man... then the dealer screwed up my lugs stripped one and 3 broke as i took the wheel off. what a project.. lol at least all the breaks move now haha.. anyone know where i can get a umm abs whatever is it
