Sun Visor Hook is loose

Has anyone tighten up the hook for the sun visor? Mine has come loose and the rattle is driving me crazy. It's very distracting, disturbing my driving, etc......

Is there any way to tighten the screw without taking the head liner out?

I would rather just put a screw thru from inside the car. I am not concerned with the appearance of a screw head showing on the hook.

From your previous posts, John, I'd say your driving was disturbing.

I'll look around while I'm doing some clean up on "the evil twin" tomorrow. I'm guessing you're talking about the "hook" on the opposite end from the bracket that holds it into the headliner?

Yeah my DISTURBED driving disturbed the heck out of the hook. Shook it loose.

Yes it is the hook, the one closer to the middle of the car and not the end that wires run thru.

Didn't get a chance to look today. I'll have to check it out tomorrow. Got the "Evil Twin" (aka: The Beast), all washed up after the "bug collection expedition" from New York to Kentucky.
