Carlisle Import Nationals

Anyone headed to the Import show at Carlisle?
It's May 17-19. I was there several years ago, before my SVX, so I don't remember exactly what was there.

I think I might take my SVX up this year, might be a good time to find parts and ideas.

If anyone is interested in meeting, let me know.

I *may* be going, depends on wether the s/o wants to go to the air show.

i went to the "import" show last weekend at carslile and was sort of disappointed. yes, there were ALOT of cars. mostly smaller ones that had great looking wheels and chromed tailpipes, etc. but after a while they all looked the same. there were some interesting paint jobs, streros, etc. and ALOT of vendors. i don't know what's in store the weeekend of the 17th. last weekend i saw the following number of svx's --none-. i kept thinking how great an svx would be to have been modified and at the show. i am, however, glad i went to see what it was like and enjoy the drive. but a word of caution, consider gettting there early or late. i got there late (3 p.m.) on sunday, no problems. a know soneone who went saturday and got into a big tie up on the pa turnpike, even though he only had to go 2 exits.

the 17th weekend for is planned to go to summit point for the "jefferson 500" vintage car race. never been and i am told it's a neat thing.
