Tire Rack rules...

I order my racing tires for the MR2 yesterday morning and they got here already.

UPS Ground, too.

Granted, they only had to come from the state to the right.

Sweet, sweet irony...I get a set of racing tires, thinking 'okay, I'm going to do lots of events and be more competitive this year and it's going to be great.'

Aaaaand my project manager comes in to tell me that I'm being moved to another project that is in dire need of help and I'll be crunching until, like, July.

It's really no big deal. The project needs my help specifically, so I was actually surprised I wasn't on it already. And it's a damned good project with tons of potential.

And I'm still making games, so it's not exactly bad.

one thing I really enjoy about living in Sparks, is that the Tire Racks shipping warehouse is right up the street from me ...literally..I can place an order, and pick it up within minutes, and pay cash sucks to be me

When I first saw this I thought it was going to be about a new set of rules for buying from tire rack... Um, I need a new set of shoes for a couple cars come to think of it

I just wish Tire Rack would sell Falkens. To be honest though, I get as good of a deal locally and support a SVX family member while doing so. Problem is I make him work with odd sizes and weirder brands.

While DTD may have good prices, TireRack does a great job catering to the autocross and racing markets. DTD doesn't sell competition tires.

But they do sell Falkens, Bob.

I used to buy from discount tire (once) maby 4 years ago, but it seems their selection dwindeled and prices are slightly higer than tire rack, good news it that if you cant mount your own tires then americas tire will, but ballancing is extea...thats the way it was then anyway.
